AZURA'S INTENTION: VOL 16 INSPIRATION - REMEMBERING YOUR ROYALTY

Creating has been my way of redefining myself—of expressing the feelings that words alone could never hold.

The Second Awakening is my visual expression of how it felt to let sadness do its job: grounding me in what truly matters, and starving everything else.

I am most inspired by my emotions. The way I move through them is reflected in my work. Each painting becomes a vessel, a way to capture the intelligence of emotion—how it shapes us, teaches us, and even transforms us.

My saddest emotions have birthed the most honest, raw versions of myself. Those moments of depression and isolation stripped away everything that was never meant to stay. In the ashes, only art remained. From that depth, my heart opened. The only thing that mattered was creating.

In that process, I had a dream. A dream where a crowd reminded me to:

REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE.REMEMBER WHERE YOU’VE BEEN.REMEMBER WHERE YOU’RE GOING.REMEMBER YOUR ROYALTY.

This dream became my compass.

I am fascinated by how emotions move us across time—past, present, and future. They mold us, control us, and connect us.

They are universal, yet deeply personal.

The years 2024–2025 poured into me experiences that I’ve transmuted onto canvas and tapestry. Each piece in this collection is a mirror of that journey—my visual expression of Remembering My Royalty.

As God continues to work on me, I continue to alchemize. I look forward to sharing these works, to seeing what emotions they awaken in you, and to building altars of memory together.
